Pro Open Final july 3rd
This is the final round of the Pro Open at Scotia Speed World on July 3/2004. It came down to myself, on the Dalton Industries/Fundy Power Sports powered V and Chris Thompson on a Fundy Power Sports built 686 Raptor. (These bikes are both trail bikes running on pump gas)
Chris cut a perfect light and left me by a length at the start. As soon as the V came up I knew it was Chris's win so we just showed off a bit.

The Green Monster
This is a clip of the Simon & Simon racing, Fundy Power Sports built stg VI 650 kawy in the final round of the 500+ 4x4 mod class at Scotai Speed World, July 3, 2004.
Robert Simon, on the Green Monster, has time to play with the throttle in the last 100ft as he beats Dale Brooks on his 650. Dale has a very fast 650 (Fundy Power Sports heads and the same setup with cam timing, mod exhaust, Brooks modual, air box mods and of course Dalton Pro clutch setup, as our stg II 650 package) Dale can make a YFZ450 and TRX450 look pretty bad.
The Green Monster is also a pump gas trail package.

V vrs Scram (wheelie)
This was the first round in the 500+ improved 2 wheel drive class at the 2004 Atlantic Championship Drags.
I was out in front by a length at 100ft and found some traction (the only time that day), we can't run a wheelie bar in this class, the front came up and I was going through 200ft when I got it back down and then a 1/2 length behind.

V on Asphalt
This was one of 8 or 9 attempts to launch the V straight on asphalt. Most runs it would just smoke the holeshots and turn sideways. It still got a little sideways and spun for 80-100 ft or so. We only ran 230-250ft.
This is one of our pump gas 730 motors (10.8:1) with trail cams.

|
V on asphalt, bad run
This is how most runs went, lots of wheel spin and not going straight.

Dyno run, Top secret Eng
Many have said they would like to see an engine on the Dyno. So here is a run. We couldn't get the engine in the frame and see the screen at the same time but this show's the computer during a run.
The engine on the Dyno is still in top secret developement but I will say that it is less then 1000cc's and runs on 91 oct pump gas. We will be testing it in the 1/4 mile in the coming weeks.

5.0 sec V
This is a 400ft pass on the test track with one of our pump gas 730's (10.8:1, 87 oct)
We only had the timers setup at 300ft a were running 5.0 sec. Chris ran to 400ft, looks like about 5.7 sec in 400ft from the video.
